EARTH GARDEN FESTIVAL – Best Summer Music Festival 

 

Earth Garden is Malta’s largest Alternative Festival held annually at the National Park since 2007, attracting over 25,000 true music lovers from around the World, spread over 4 days.

 

It features 5 music areas and around 120 acts from around the World with an eclectic music fusion of World Music, Ska, Funk, Blues, Reggae, Alternative Rock, Dub, Hip-Hop, Psychedelic Trance, Techno, House, Electro, Drum ‘n’ Bass and more.

 

Artists announced to date include:

 

Prince Fatty & Horseman, Atmos, Gypsy Hill, Billy Nasty, Tippa Irie, Benny Page, Onipa, Hypnocoustics, The Carny Villains, Dan Shake, Yaaba Funk, Matrixxman, Adam Ben Ezra, Ondubground, Terra Livre, Lucy, Kumbia Boruka, Roots Raid, Airtist and Art-X.

Earth Garden isn’t just about music. The Festival also offers 2 naturally shaded campsites, a healing and workshop area, an international food court, an Ethnic Market and a Kid's area. 

 

Earth Garden is a pioneer in spreading public awareness on environmental matters, water & electricity consumption and waste management and many festivals in Malta are using and following Earth Garden’s methods of waste management as a leading example.

Roots Stage

 

This is the festival main stage featuring around 20 international and local acts making it the most versatile live music line ups in Malta. 

 

Electronic Sphere

 

This area will host 3 Electronic music nights; two Techno, and one Psychedelic Trance featuring.

 

Strawberry Hill

 

A smaller and more intimate area featuring an Electro night, a Drum ‘n’ Bass night and a House night. 

 

Enchanted Forest

 

The oldest area of the Festival and one of the people’s favourite. Located under the trees close the Ethnic Market, this area features an eclectic mix of live performances during daytime and evening events featuring Reggae, Ska, Dub and World Music. 

 

 

Music Playground

 

Hosted by Music Playground, the festival’s jamming area is considered by many as one of the best Jamming areas in European Festivals, offering a mix of organized and improvised Jamming sessions involving music passionate and professionals, working together to create some seriously good music and a truly amazing atmosphere.

 

Healing Fields

 

Hosted by Why Not? the Healing area offers 4 days of workshops and talks covering general well-being, healthy eating, natural healing, therapies and remedies, spirituality, yoga, meditation, art and more.

 

Ethnic Market

 

The largest and most diverse Ethnic Market on the island. Visitors can walk through the stands filled with handmade creations amidst a colourful array of unique and attractive designs filled with a free-spirited atmosphere.

 

Camping Sites

 

The festival offers two naturally shaded camping areas including Pre-pitched Tents options.

 

International Food Court

 

The Food Court offers an impressive selection of tasty and high-quality World Cuisine dishes prepared with love, passion and dedication to satisfy everyone’s taste buds including various vegetarian and healthy options.

 

Fun Park

 

The name speaks for itself. This area offers an array of games and activities that are amusing and entertaining not only for the young ones, but also for the young at heart!
