Celles, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia

Nestled in the hollow of a smallish valley surrounded by 4 hills, Celles has very ancient origins and was at the height of its renown in 669 with the arrival of the monk Hadelin. The Saint-Hadelin church is a true masterpiece of Romanesque art. The Saint-Hadelin Hermitage was erected on the hill dominating the church.

Torgny, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia

Torgny is the most southern village of Belgium and enjoys the advantage of a privileged microclimate that enables it to cultivate vines.

Made from ochre-coloured and hand-hewn stones and red curved tiles, the dwellings are reminiscent of the South of France and are, at the very least, unusual for the Lorraine area.

Limbourg, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia

This village which was once the capital of the Duchy of Limbourg and a stronghold, is located on the banks of the Vesdre river, between the Herve region and the Ardennes hills.

The beautiful village of Limbourg has managed to preserve its architectural heritage to the delight of inhabitants and visitors alike. The village's architecture has been added to the Walloon region's list of protected architectural heritage. What's more, you will also find several listed monuments.

Enjoy a stroll at the heart of place Saint-Georges on its pebbled square. Wander its alleys and let yourself be seduced by the charm of its houses.

Aubechies, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia

Established in a rural setting, Aubechies is a village representative of the type of architecture practised in Hainaut in the last century. It is the realm of tiles and red brick, now and then punctuated with gables of rubbled sandstone.

The Archeosite of Aubechies faithfully reproduces the dwellings established there from the Neolithic era until gallo-roman times. Also admire the beautiful Roman church from the 11th century.

Mélin, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia

Located in the province of Walloon Brabant, the village of Mélin is part of the municipality of Jodoigne and is known for the Gobertange stone.

Nestled on the heights of the " Gobertange " valley and offering immense landscapes, the village of Mélin is huddled around its church. The houses in white stone called " pierres de Gobertange " (stones of Gobertange) are lovingly decorated and flowered.

The gables of the buildings perpendicular to the road and the constructions arranged in L or U form, are typical of the village. The architectural whole, formed by 4 large farmes, small farmouses and houses are witnesses of the 19th century.
