The Giant's Causeway

Bushmills - County Antrim - Northern Ireland

This unique rock formation in the world is made up of nearly 40,000 basalt columns of different heights. Visit Giant's Causeway equivalent to 1 hour of steps lessons in a fitness club. That being said, the place is not very accessible for people who have walking difficulties, think about it before booking your tour online from the major cities of Ireland or travelling there on your own.

Considered one of the Seven Wonders of the UK, Giant's Causeway is run by the National Trust and admission is completely free. If you look at the Giant's Causeway from above, from the top of the hill, you will see that it looks like dried mud that has cracked. This is what happened when the lava cooled and contracted horizontally on contact with the water, forming its funny stairs that have fascinated for centuries.

The pagan Irish people believed in tiny gods like fairies and gigantic heroes (which would explain the name of this site).

Book your tours online as "Giant's Causeway & more: luxury coach tour from Belfast", these all-inclusive tours cost less than a full tank.

How to get there: Book your flights to Belfast (1h by car) or Dublin (3h by car).
